LAN/WAN Administrator, IT Technician

Led, designed, and implemented the LAN/WAN for Corsicana Independent School District, Corsicana, TX. Currently serving as Administrator/Technician for this system. LAN includes Corsicana High School, with approximately 650 computers and several networked printers, with about 1000 users. WAN includes CISD schools (15 separate campuses), 5 other school districts and Region 12 Education Service Center. We currently have a DS3 coming into the district, which is broken down into T1 and ATM lines to each campus.

Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of hardware and software applications using real-time control, data acquisition, and graphics for major projects.

Interfaced with end-user from initial requirements, design and implementation through maintenance and enhancements

Serve as Engineer-in-charge of field questions and problems of end-users during experiments

Diagnosed and solved hardware and software problems

Training of users in software applications

Project Manager for installation of DS3 fiber optic line for Internet and Video Conferencing equipment.
